The game is afoot! Sherlock Holmes was well done.

I was so relieved that this went well. Robert Downey Jr. was excellent as usual and Jude Law made a superb Watson. They definitely made a believable team. Added to that were the many gripping action sequences that were fast paced and well thought out.

I especially liked the scenes where Holmes' foresight/thought process was exhibited. The sets looked wonderfully grimy/elegant depending on the scene of course and the costumes were perfect.

I cannot wait to see the sequel.

Oh, and I didn't miss the Deerstalker hat at all.
