Full house at the Roxy. The Ramones are blasting. Waiting for X to take the stage. "The KKK took my baby away!" Each of the four nights is an album. Tonight is, Under The Big Black Sun.
(Note: They played the Ramones as the pre-show music to honor Tommy Ramone who had just passed away the day before. I bounced around to them the whole time, cause hey, Tommy would've want us to have fun!)
It was such a great night. So many old friends showed up. The performances were so fun. Pics are trickling down. Here's a couple to start. What a great Friday night!

Over the years, the East Los Angeles punk scene has not gotten nearly the coverage that it's deserved. This has left the masses to assume that only X, The Germs and a small handful of others who have had commercial success, have contributed to the LA punk scene. So of course, not much credit has been given to the many bands from East Los Angeles that have played a part in that scene as well. To correct that oversight, James Alvarado and crew have been hard at work documenting many of the people and bands that have played their part in building and maintaining this vibrant scene.
Here's a taste of what's coming.
